§ 7-7-2 - Power to form associations.

SECTION 7-7-2

   § 7-7-2  Power to form associations. –Five (5) or more persons of lawful age engaged in the production ofagricultural products, or two (2) or more nonprofit cooperative associations ofproducers, organized under the provisions of this chapter, may form a nonprofitcooperative association with or without capital stock for the purpose ofproducing, handling, processing, preparing for market, warehousing, financing,preserving, drying, canning, packing, manufacturing, utilizing, and marketingthe agricultural products of its members or for engaging in any activitypertaining to any of the things enumerated including the financing, purchasing,or otherwise securing for its members supplies, equipment, machinery, orcommodities of any character.
