SECTION 7-8-11

   § 7-8-11  Meetings of members. – (a) Regular meetings of members shall be held at least once a year. Specialmeetings may be demanded by a written petition of at least one-tenth ( 1/10) ofthe membership, in which case it is the duty of the secretary to call themeeting to take place within thirty (30) days after the demand. Meetings of themembers may be held within or without this state.

   (b) The articles of association or bylaws may provide formeetings by units of the membership and may provide for a method oftransmitting the votes there cast to the central meeting, or for a method ofrepresentation by the election of delegates to the central meeting, or for acombination of both methods.
