§ 7-8-5 - Federation and cooperation between associations. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 7-8-5

   § 7-8-5  Federation and cooperation betweenassociations. – In addition to the powers granted to it by § 7-1.2-302, an association haspower to:

   (1) Own and hold membership in other associations formedunder any laws of this state, or of any other state, country, nation, orgovernment, and while the holder the membership, to exercise all the rights ofmembership.

   (2) Make agreements of mutual aid or federation with otherassociations, other groups organized on a cooperative basis, and othernonprofit groups.
