SECTION 7-9-2

   § 7-9-2  Power to execute bonds andobligations. – Any company authorized to do business in this state may make, sign, seal,execute, acknowledge, and deliver any bond, guaranty, undertaking, or any otherobligation in this state, or may enter into any recognizance or otherobligation of record in this state, by its attorney in fact or by its officeror officers, agent or authorized agents; and the authority from the company maybe shown in the same manner that similar authority are shown in the case ofother corporations.
