SECTION 8-10-33

   § 8-10-33  Powers of assistant clerks offamily court. – Each of the assistant clerks of the family court shall aid his or her principalin the discharge of his or her duties, and any act done by him or her, underdirection of the clerk, in the line of duty of the clerk shall have the sameforce and effect as though done by the clerk; he or she shall have authority toadminister oaths to parties, witnesses, and others as required in the conductof the proceedings of the court.
