§ 8-16.1-1 - Definitions.
SECTION 8-16.1-1
§ 8-16.1-1 Definitions. – As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, thefollowing words and phrases shall have the following meanings:
(1) "Attorney" means a resident of the state of Rhode Islandwho is licensed to practice law in the state of Rhode Island and who is acurrent member in good standing of the Rhode Island bar association; and
(2) "Member of the general public" means a person who is aresident of the state of Rhode Island and who is not a licensed member of anybar association.
