SECTION 8-2-31

   § 8-2-31  Order for change of venue. –If, upon hearing the petition and the evidence thereon, the court shall be ofopinion that a full, fair, and impartial trial cannot be had in the court forthe county where the cause shall have been commenced or is pending, the courtshall make an order of removal, directing the clerk of the court where thecause is pending to transmit the record thereof to the clerk of the court forthe county named in the order of removal, to which county the cause shall beremoved.
