   § 8-2-34  Impaneling and instruction ofgrand juries. – All grand juries shall be impaneled by the superior court. They shall beempowered, required, and charged to diligently inquire and make truepresentment of all crimes and offenses done or committed within theirjurisdiction, and shall, insofar as may be deemed necessary, be instructed bythe court in the law relative thereto.
