SECTION 8-3-9

   § 8-3-9  Computation of service time as toformer courts. – For purposes of determining eligibility for retirement under §§ 8-3-7and 8-3-8, the years of service of any person who has served as an associatejudge of the juvenile court prior to September 1, 1961, or who has served as ajudge or clerk of a district court as constituted prior to September 15, 1969,or a judge of the workers' compensation court, shall be included as if theservice had been on the court to which the person may have been subsequentlyappointed.
