SECTION 8-5-1
§ 8-5-1 Supreme court secretary andassistant – Powers of court attendants. – The supreme court may appoint a secretary and an assistant secretary, each ofwhom shall hold office during its pleasure and shall perform such duties as maybe required by the court. All court attendants, when on duty, shall have thepower of police constables.
