SECTION 8-7-7

   § 8-7-7  Adjournment in absence of quorumor presiding justice. – In the absence of a quorum of the supreme court, the justices in attendance mayadjourn. In case of the absence of any justice of the superior court from anytrial pending before him or her, any other justice of the court may adjourn thetrial.
