SECTION 8-8-18

   § 8-8-18  Failure of clerk to account forfines and costs. – For any willful neglect or refusal of the clerk of the district court toaccount or for any willful neglect or refusal of any clerk of the districtcourt to pay over all fines and costs received by him or her, he or she shallbe fined fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense and also double the amount offines and costs received by him or her and so detained.
