   § 8-9-2.2  New Shoreham town council asprobate court. – The town council of the town of New Shoreham may act as a probate court withinits town; the major part of the members elected constitutes a quorum for doingbusiness, and the major part of those present at any legal meeting may decideupon any matter before them.
