SECTION 9-10-10

   § 9-10-10  Penalty for failure of juror toattend. – Every person duly notified to attend any court as juror, who does not attend asrequired or give satisfactory excuse to the court for not attending, or shallabsent himself/herself therefrom without leave of the court, shall be broughtbefore the court and, upon being adjudged in contempt, shall be fined not lessthan twenty dollars ($20.00).
