SECTION 9-18-11

   § 9-18-11  Depositions for use in foreigntribunals. – Depositions may be taken in this state to be used on the trial of any causepending in a tribunal of any other state, district, territory, or country,before any person residing in this state, to whom a commission shall bedirected and sent by the tribunal, with the formalities prescribed in thecommission, or, if there are none prescribed, then according to the laws of thejurisdiction whence the commission issues.
