SECTION 9-19.1-2

   § 9-19.1-2  Nondisclosure of confidentialinformation. – Except as provided in § 9-19.1-3, no person shall be required by anycourt, grand jury, agency, department, or commission of the state to revealconfidential association, to disclose any confidential information, or todisclose the source of any confidential information received or obtained by himor her in his or her capacity as a reporter, editor, commentator, journalist,writer, correspondent, newsphotographer, or other person directly engaged inthe gathering or presentation of news for any accredited newspaper, periodical,press association, newspaper syndicate, wire service, or radio or televisionstation.
