SECTION 9-2-7

   § 9-2-7  Effect of judgment against part ofjoint contractors. – No judgment, without complete satisfaction, rendered against a part only of thedefendants in any action upon a joint contract shall be a bar to any futureaction on the contract, for any unsatisfied balance due, against such of thedefendants upon whom or whose estate the writ in the original action shall nothave been served.
