SECTION 9-22-20

   § 9-22-20  Costs on appeal. – In all appeals, the court appealed to, on rendering judgment therein, may awardcosts for or against the appellant or appellee, or for neither of them, or mayapportion the costs among the parties appellant and appellee, according to thecircumstances of the case, and as shall appear equitable.
