SECTION 9-24-8

   § 9-24-8  Supreme court orders forprotection of parties pending appeal. – After an appeal has been entered in the supreme court, the court may make suchorders as are needful to protect the rights of the parties pending the appeal,and orders for continuing, modifying, or annulling orders provisionally made bythe superior court.
