SECTION 9-25-4

   § 9-25-4  Stay of execution. – Any justice of the supreme, superior, or district court may, upon motion andfor cause shown, stay execution upon any judgment or decree rendered in anycourt, until further order. With respect to a judgment or decree for childsupport, good cause shall be deemed to be shown when the family court, pursuantto § 15-5-16.2.4, has suspended payment of child support arrearages.
