SECTION 9-28-2

   § 9-28-2  Transmission of superior courtpapers to district court to which writ returnable. – Upon ex parte motion of any party for whom judgment is rendered in the superiorcourt in a case in which the writ was returnable to a district court and whoseexecution has been returned either wholly or in part unpaid and unsatisfied,the superior court in its discretion may transmit to the district court towhich the writ in the case was made returnable all the papers in the case forhearing under the provisions of §§ 9-28-3 – 9-28-7, there to bekept until their return shall be ordered by the superior court.
