   § 9-32.1-3  Scope. – (a) This chapter applies only to a foreign money claim in an action ordistribution proceeding.

   (b) This chapter applies to foreign money issues even ifother law under the conflict of laws rules of this state applies to otherissues in the action or distribution proceeding.
