SECTION 9-5-18

   § 9-5-18  Adaptation of forms to more thanone defendant. – Whenever process shall issue against more than one defendant, the formsprovided by law may be altered so as to combine the summons, the writ ofarrest, and the writ of attachment, in order that they may be served on one ormore of the defendants by one form of service and on the other or others byanother form of service.
