SECTION 9-5-25

   § 9-5-25  Exemption of voters from arrest.– All persons entitled to vote shall be protected from arrest in civil cases, onthe days of election for city or town officers, and for state officers,representatives in congress, and electors of president and vice-president ofthe United States; and on the day preceding and the day following the election.
