SECTION 9-5-32

   § 9-5-32  Notice to nonresident to appointattorney – Agents for noncomplying persons. – Every individual or partnership required by §§ 9-5-29 – 9-5-31to file a power of attorney and failing so to do shall be notified by thesecretary of state, upon information and request by any resident of this state,of the requirements of §§ 9-5-29 – 9-5-32; and every person whoacts within the state as agent of any such individual or partnership whichfails, after receipt of the notice from the secretary of state, to file thepower shall for such failure be liable to a penalty of ten dollars ($10.00) foreach day during which the person has so acted after the receipt of the noticeby the individual or partnership.
