   § 9-9-26  Appropriations – Expenses.– The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sums as it shall deemnecessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter and chapter 10 of thistitle; and the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw hisor her orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of such sum or sums asmay be from time to time required, upon the receipt by him or her of propervouchers approved by the jury commissioner.
