Section 24-11A-17 - Escape from facility. - South Dakota Statutes

24-11A-17. Escape from facility. An inmate is considered guilty of escape from an adult community corrections facility or program if, without proper authorization, the inmate:
(1) Fails to remain within the extended limits of his confinement or return within the prescribed time to an adult community corrections facility to which transferred; or
(2) As a program participant, established under the provisions of this chapter, leaves his place of employment or approved community activity, pass, furlough, or sign-out location or fails or neglects to return to the adult community corrections facility within the prescribed time or when specifically ordered to do so.
