Section 26-4-8 - Enforcement of laws for protection of unmarried mothers.
26-4-8. Enforcement of laws for protection of unmarried mothers. The Department of Social Services shall secure the enforcement of the Uniform Illegitimacy Act and other laws for the protection of the unmarried mother and the unmarried pregnant woman in such ways as will protect the health, well-being, and general interests of her child.
