Section 27A-4-3 - Appointment of administrator--Qualifications--Chief executive officer. - South Dakota Statutes

27A-4-3. Appointment of administrator--Qualifications--Chief executive officer. The secretary of human services shall appoint an administrator of the South Dakota Human Services Center who shall meet at least one of the following requirements:
(1) Have a bachelor's degree in either mental health administration, health services administration, public administration, human services, or business administration with at least three years of experience in administration, one of which shall be in a mental health setting; or
(2) Have a master's degree with at least two years of experience in administration with one year in a mental health setting.
The administrator shall be the chief executive officer of the South Dakota Human Services Center. The administrator shall serve at the pleasure of the secretary of human services.
