3-6-17. Hours of employment of city fire department employees. The hours of employment of full-time employees of city fire departments are governed by mutual agreements with the respective municipal corporations. The hours of employment for any such employee may not exceed two hundred twelve hours during a twenty-eight-day work period or two hundred four hours during a twenty-seven-day work period as determined by mutual agreement unless the employee is paid additional compensation or is allowed compensatory time off.
