3-12A-5. Contracts with insurance carriers authorized. The commissioner may execute any contracts necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter to provide the benefits under the plan or plans of health and dental insurance coverage determined in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. Such contract or contracts shall be executed with one or more insurance carriers duly licensed in this state.
