3-12A-9.1. State employee's election of nonparticipation. Notwithstanding § 3-12A-9, a state employee may elect not to participate in the state employee health insurance plan if the employee is covered by another group health insurance plan either as a dependent or spouse and the employee provides notice to the plan administrator.
