Section 33-10-12 - Court attendants--Duties.

33-10-12. Court attendants--Duties. A military court sitting in any county shall be attended by the county sheriff, or some suitable person designated by the sheriff, who shall be the marshal of the court and perform the usual duties of such marshals. The marshal shall execute any process lawfully issued by the court and perform all acts and duties by this chapter imposed on and authorized to be performed by any sheriff, marshal, or constable. The officer ordering the court shall furnish a copy of the order to the sheriff of the county where the court is directed to meet. The order constitutes notice to the sheriff to appear or designate someone as marshal of the court.
