33-16-2. Division aid to servicemen, veterans, and families. The Division of Veterans Affairs of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs shall aid in meeting the emergency needs of dependents of men and women in the armed services and shall represent the interest of war veterans, and their dependents in claims they have against the federal government or other agencies growing out of the service of such veterans.
