34-1-19. Assistance by department in program for the mentally retarded. The State Department of Health shall cooperate with and make available its services to the State Department of Social Services, including the administrator of the South Dakota Developmental Center--Redfield, for the purpose of advancing the health and well-being of the mentally retarded placed under the control of the department, whether institutionalized or not.
