34-7-9. Application for federal funds--Deposit in treasury--Repayment of funds not expended. The Department of Health is authorized to make application to the federal secretary for federal funds to assist in carrying out the survey and planning activities herein provided. Such funds shall be deposited in the state treasury and shall be available to the secretary of health for expenditure for carrying out the purposes of this chapter. Any such funds received and not expended for such purposes shall be repaid to the treasury of the United States.
