34-20B-95. Contracts with other agencies for research projects. In connection with the research authorized by § 34-20B-93 and in furtherance of its other duties, the Department of Health is authorized to enter into contracts with public agencies, institutions of higher education, and private organizations or individuals for the purpose of conducting research, demonstrations, or special projects which bear directly on misuse and abuse of controlled drugs and substances.
