34-35-6. Fireguards not in organized townships. In counties containing areas not embraced in any civil township, fireguards as described in §§ 34-35-1 and 34-35-2 may be constructed under the supervision of the board of county commissioners and the cost thereof met by special levy upon the real property, including railroads, within the area embraced by such fireguards.
