34-45-7. Legal action and liability for uncollected charges. Each telecommunications service provider, wireless telecommunications service provider, prepaid wireless telecommunications service provider, or Interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol service provider has no obligation to take any legal action to enforce the collection of any charge imposed pursuant to this chapter. Such action may be brought by or on behalf of the public agency imposing the charge. Each telecommunications service provider, wireless telecommunications service provider, prepaid wireless telecommunications service provider, or Interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol service provider is not liable for such uncollected amounts.
