34A-2-116. Development of pretreatment programs for publicly owned treatment works--Assumption of local responsibilities by secretary on request. A pretreatment program shall be developed for any publicly owned treatment works or combination of publicly owned treatment works operated by the same authority as required by section 307 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended to January 1, 1992. The owner of any publicly owned treatment works that is required to develop a program may request the secretary to assume local pretreatment responsibilities for that publicly owned treatment works.
