34A-2-13. Effluent standards--Minimum requirements--Violation. The board shall promulgate rules pursuant to chapter 1-26 to formulate effluent standards, which include as a minimum all categories for which the federal government has set standards pursuant to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended to January 1, 1993. The state standards shall be at least as stringent as the standards adopted by the federal government. Any person who violates these standards is subject to § 34A-2-75.
