34A-3-16. Certification of present operators without examination--Restricted certificate. Certificates of proper classification may be issued without examination to operators of treatment works, collection system, or distribution system, including the person who was in direct responsible charge, on July 1, 1970. The governing body or owner must certify such persons in writing to the secretary. A certificate so issued will be valid only for that plant or system and shall be marked "restricted."
