34A-7-5.1. Recyclable or degradable plastic garbage bags or garbage can liners required. No plastic garbage bag or plastic garbage can liner may be offered for sale in this state after January 1, 1992, if the bag or can liner is not recyclable, biodegradable, photodegradable, or otherwise degradable.
The secretary of environment and natural resources may, by rule, establish standards to implement the provisions of this section.
