34A-9-11. Impact statement not required if federal statement required. In order to avoid duplication of effort and to promote consistent administration of federal and state environmental policies, the environmental impact statement required by this chapter need not be prepared with respect to actions for which a detailed statement is required to be prepared pursuant to the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 as amended to January 1, 1993, if the statement complies with the requirements of this chapter.
