36-19-20. Application for license to practice funeral service--Time, place, and notice of examination. Any person desiring to obtain a license to practice funeral service under this chapter shall make application to the State Board of Funeral Service. Such application shall contain such information as the board may require and be upon a form prepared by the board. Thereupon, the board shall fix a date and place for the examination of such applicant of which notice shall be given to the applicant by mail. At such time and place, the board or a quorum thereof shall proceed to examine the applicant under such rules and regulations as the board may establish.
