Section 36-34-1 - Definitions of terms. - South Dakota Statutes

36-34-1. Definitions of terms. Terms used in this chapter mean:
(1) "Board," the South Dakota Certification Board for Alcohol and Drug Professionals; and
(2) "Practitioner," a person certified under this chapter in the practice of chemical dependency counseling or prevention services who holds himself or herself out to the public by any title or description of services which uses the words certified chemical dependency counselor or certified prevention specialist or derivatives thereof.
