36-34-5. Meetings of board--Election of officers. The initial meeting of the board shall occur at Pierre, South Dakota, within one month after the appointment of the ninth member. The board shall elect a chair, vice-chair, and a secretary-treasurer from its members. Thereafter the board shall elect officers annually. The board shall meet at least once a year at a place and time determined by the chair. However, a majority of the board may call a meeting without the assent of the chair.
