37-25A-33. Findings required for adoption or change of rules--Cooperation with other jurisdictions. No rule, form, or order may be made, amended, or rescinded unless the director of the Division of Securities finds that the action is necessary or appropriate in the public interest or for the protection of the purchaser. In prescribing rules and forms the director may cooperate with other jurisdictions in order to effectuate the policy of this chapter to achieve maximum uniformity in the form and content of disclosure statements, applications, and reports.
