40-8-16. Expense of services performed by officer as lien on sheep--Priority of lien. All expenses and costs of whatever nature incurred in gathering sheep, treating sheep, destroying the carcasses of dead sheep, and cleaning and disinfecting premises pursuant to this chapter if done by the Animal Industry Board become a lien on the sheep, superior to any other liens except a tax lien.
