40-9-4. Serum production and research exempt from prohibition of live virus. The prohibition in § 40-9-2 does not apply to the use of a virulent live virus, a modified live virus, or an attenuated live virus for the purpose of producing anti-hog cholera serum or for the purpose of research in establishments licensed by the United States Department of Agriculture.
